Slipping behind the song-a-day rate. And slipping behind in other ways too.

It’s fairly derivative. In fact, I think it might even be quite derivative of the song I did on day one… This is one potential downside of banning myself from listening to the songs written so far.  I might need to rethink that strategy.

I might need to rethink everything. I’m having some significant doubts as to whether my game plan was a good one. Granted, it was very much a two-part plan - and I’m still in the middle of part one…

I think I’m going to put a limit on this phase though. The end of this week. That will be the end of this writing-only business. I’ll still aim for 12, but I will be moving on to crafting the songs on Monday (the 13th) regardless.
